Jul 21 : ICYM Balkunje unit organized "KESARD ONJI DHINA” (A Day in the Field) on Sunday, 17th July 2022 at Bandasale near Balkunje church.

The inaugural program was presided over by Rev. Fr. Gilbert D’souza, Parish priest of St. Paul Church, Balkunje with chief guest Rev Fr Micheal Dsilva, Parish priest, St. Thomas the Apostle Church Ammembal. Mr Abdul Basheer, Retired officer, Department of Agriculture inaugurated the program.

Dr Freeda Rodrigues, Vice President of Parish Council, and Melreeda Jane Rodrigues, ICYM and YCS Animator were present on the stage.

The inaugural function began with a prayer song by members of ICYM Balkunje unit, followed by Procession.

All the parish members including children participated in various games and enjoyed the seasonal sport.

Carolin Chris D'Souza, President of ICYM Balkunje Unit welcomed the gathering. Chrislin Sonia Dsouza, YCS president delivered the vote of thanks. Nelisha Lobo compered the program.
