Jan 6 : On the occasion on Christmas to welcome Jesus Christ, ICYM Kinnigoli unit organised " Bandhutva Christmas Aacharane" , an inter-religious Christmas celebration on 22nd December 2019 at 6pm at Ganesh Mantapa, Kinnigoli.

The programme commenced with a welcome dance by the students of St. Mary’s central school Kinnigoli. There was Carol singing led by ICYM members after which stage programme was held.

Rev. Fr. Mathew Vas - Parish Priest, Kinnigoli presided over the programme. Vedamurthy Shri Vadiraja Upadhyay and Shri Abdul Latif Sakafi were the chief guests along with Fr. Rupesh Tauro and Fr. Lancy Saldhana Assistant Parish priests, Shaila Sequeira- Vice President pastors l council, Mahima Gleny Fernandes- ICYM President and Dalton D’Souza - Secretary were present on the dais.

Mahima Fernandes welcomed the gathering. Inauguration was done by lighting the lamp after which Shri Vadiraja Upadhyay and Shri Abdul Latif addressed the gathering. Fr. Mathew Vas gave his presidential speech and honoured Shri Vadiraja Upadhyay and Shri Abdul Latif with a token of gratitude.

ICYM and YCS members performed cultural programme like tableau on the birth of Jesus Christ, dance along with Santa and also conducted housie housie. Dalton D'souza proposed vote of thanks. Dolcy Santhumayor compered the programme. Refreshments were served to all the people gathered.
