Sep 6 : ICYM Kinnigoli Unit organised Teachers day for all the teachers of Kinnigoli Parish at Sabha Sal of Kinnigoli on 4th of September 2022.

The program commenced at 11:30 AM  by welcoming all the guests followed by prayer song and lighting of lamp for the inauguration which was led by Melisha Quadras. Fr. Francis Almeida, ICYM Kinnigoli Unit Director Fr. Faustine Lobo,  Asst. Director Fr. Vivek Deepak Pinto, President Nealon D'souza, Secretary Dolcy Santhumayor, Kinnigoli Parish council Vice President Shaila Sequeira, Secretary Vincent Mathias, Principal of St. Mary's central school, Kinnigoli Fr. Lancy Saldanha and Sr. Premlatha - head of Bethany were the dignitaries present on the stage.

Fr.  Francis Almeida and Fr. Faustine Lobo shared their words, acknowledging the teachers' day. Anita ma'am and Naveen sir shared their experience of being a teacher. Vote of thanks was expressed by Nealon D'souza, President ICYM Kinnigoli unit.

Marvel Mathias and Melroy Lobo conducted some zestful games for the teachers and the prizes were distributed accordingly. For the entertainment , a song was sung  and also a skit was performed delivering the message that - "how teachers change kids' lives though they have different mentality and help them to build a better future" , by the members of the ICYM unit.

At last mementos were distributed to all the teachers and guests as a token of gratitude, and the program came to end by singing Dey Geeth. There were 61 teachers and around 30 youths  present for the same.

Through this program ICYM wanted to appreciate all the teachers for their continued support towards students for being a better person  for themselves as well as for the society. ICYM wishes all the teachers a very happy teachers' day.
