Sep 11 : On the occasion of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Kirem Unit organized ‘Sakkad Sangatha Melya - 2024’ event for the parishioners, on 8th September 2024 at 3.00 PM in Our Lady of Remedies church ,Kirem.
Rev. Fr Oswald Monteiro - Parish Priest ; Rev. Fr Aban Dsilva - Assistant Priest ; The sisters from Bentany congregation and Poor sisters of Our Lady congregation ; Vinitha Dmello- Animators of ICYM Unit, Kirem; Hanson Rodrigues - President of ICYM Kirem and Denwin Dsouza - Secretary of ICYM Kirem unit were present at this event.

The event was initiated with a cricket match for boys, and a Throw-ball match for girls and various fun filled games for kids and some creative games for the parishioners.
At the end, the prizes were distributed to the winners by Fr Oswald Monteiro. The event was a grand success with enthusiastic participation from the parishioners and the wonderful gathering that brought the parish faithful together.
