The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Niddodi along with Lions Club Neerude, Niddodi friends Club, Agriculture Co-operative Society Kallamundkur, Kudripadav and Kotrapadi Friends Club, Kalpasiri Shuttle Club Kallamundkur, Billava Social Service Group-Kallamundkur, Auto Tourist Omini-Drivers and Owners Club Kallamundkur, Omkar Sports Club-Kallamundkur organised "Kesared Onji Dina"- a sports competition for all the residents of Niddodi and Kallamundkur village on July 19th, 2015 at Manila Bakimaru field.

The programme began at 9 in the morning. The eminent personalities like Sri Abhayachandra Jain-Youth Service, Sports and Fishery Minister- Govt of Karnataka, Mrs Lilly Pais Asst Sports Minister of Mangalore, Rev Fr Mervin Noronha S.V.D, Shri Shridhar Shetty Manila, Shri M Subhaschandra Padival, Shri K Varadaraya Kamath-Kallamundkur, Shri Jossy Menezes, Shri Monappa Shetty Ekkar and Shri Yadunarayana Shetty were present on the Dias. The ICYM President Mr. Santosh Lewis, welcomed the gathering. The great personalities present on the stage inaugurated the programme. Rev Fr Mervin Noronha involved showers of blessings on the programme and on the people gathered.

"Olden days did not have anything like a day in the field" as their whole life was built in the fields during the rainy season. This is a great opportunity to convey the message of cultivation to the present generation said the Youth Service and Fishery Minister Shri Abhayachandra Jain. Shri Shridar Shetty Manila placed before his fruitful days of childhood through his message and wished good luck to all the associations who conducted the event. Shri Ashok Naik, Kallamundkur conducted the stage programme by delivering vote of thanks.

In spite of heavy rain and floods each and every person c who conducted the even contributed towards the programme through their active participation in the entertaining games like Treasure Hunt, Tug of war, Running race, Thappangai, Mummuka Himmuka and so on. More than 250 people participated in the various games. Shri Guru Master Niddodi and Shri Narayana Moke were the Masters of the programme. Breakfast, Lunch and Tea was served at free of cost to the crowd. 

Valedictory Programme began sharp at 6p.m.ICYM, Mangalore Diocese President Mr Alwyn D’Souza Agrar was present as a Chief Guest for the programme along with Shri Gangadhar Shetty, Kallamundkur. Vice President of Niddodi Parish Mr Valerian Sequeira, Ex-President of Kallamundkur Panchayat Mr Jokkim Korrea addressed the crowd after which Mr Alwyn Agrar congratulated and appreciated the ICYM Niddodi for their glorious work. The winners were honoured by distribution of prizes. The Ex-President of ICYM Niddodi Mr. Royston D’Souza gave the vote of thanks to all participants as well as the contributors of the programme.
