Nov 14 : ICYM Niddodi Unit organised Badminton tournament -2022 for all the Niddodi Parishioners on Sunday, November 13 at Play for Fit Niddodi indoor stadium from 9;30 am onwards. The tournament began with prayer.
Rev. Fr. Denis Suares, parish priest of Little Flower Church Niddodi, Mrs. Preema Correa, parish council secretary, Mr. John Cardoza, director of all commissions, Mr. Stallan Serrao, ICYM Niddodi president, Mr. Rithesh and Mr. Shashikiran, directors of physical education at Holy Rosary PU College and Trisha Vidya PU College respectively , were present during the inaugural ceremony.
The tournament was inaugurated through the badminton service by Rev Fr. Denis Suares along with Mr. John Cardoza. Addressing the gathering, Rev. Fr. Denis Suares shared some of the sweet childhood memories of playing Badminton and also appreciated ICYM Niddodi for conducting these sports events to encourage unity among Niddodians.
More than 18 teams participated in different categories, and the results of the badminton tournament are as follows:

As a token of gratitude, mementos were given to the sponsors and referees. Prizes were distributed to the winners and runners up of each category and ICYM Niddodi conducted 58 matches overall in a well organised plan and got very wide positive feedback from all parishioners for conducting a wonderfully organised sports tournament.
