Sep 1 : 'Khela Mel - 2022', an interward water games competition was conducted on August 28th 2022 at Eliyarpadav Church ground from 9:00am - 4:00pm by ICYM Eliyarpadav along with Catholic Sabha.

Ms Jevita Dsouza was the MC of the event. The event was led by a Prayer song. The main guests of this event were Rev. Fr.John Dsouza,  Parish Priest,  Vincent Dsouza , Parish Vice President, Edward Dsouza , President of Catholic Sabha, Matilda Roche , Parish Secretary , Sr.Maria Kripa and Sr. Allwita, Cinthiya Menezes, President of Stree Sanghatan. Rickson Figreda President of ICYM Eliyarpadav unit welcomed the gathering. Sr. Maria Kripa hoisted the flag.

Rev.Fr.John Dsouza spoke about the importance of games and encouraged everyone to participate in this event.

10 wards  participated in this event.  25 water games were conducted and there were separate games for the children from LKG to 2nd PUC. The ward members performed extremely well and they enjoyed playing. The event went on smoothly with the cooperation of all the participants followed by breakfast and lunch.

The Valedictory program was conducted in the evening followed by prize distribution ceremony by ICYM President Rickson Figreda and ICYM sports secretary  Johnson Dsouza. Oswald Roche, Secretary of Catholic Sabha proposed the vote of thanks. The event came to an end with the Baila and Rain Dance.
