Sep 10 : Indian Catholic youth movement (ICYM) Fajir unit conducted "Sakkad Sangatha Melya 2.0" on the occasion of the Feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary for all people of Fajir parish on 04-09-2022 at 11:30am in Fajir church hall.

ICYM Fajir unit director Rev. Fr. Anil Joel Dsouza, Convent superior Sr. Vijaya, Judges of the competition Vivian Madanthyar and Pradeep Kuppepadav, ICYM Fajir unit president Jaison Dsouza, Secretary Laveena Vinitha Almeda were present on the dais.

The Program started with a prayer song led by ICYM members. Jaison Dsouza, President of ICYM Fajir unit welcomed the gathering. Programme was inaugurated by leaving the fishes in the aquarium bowl by the dignitaries.

Rev. Fr. Anil Joel Dsouza, Director of ICYM Fajir unit addressed the gathering about all round development of children and having a sportive mindset.

Then the competitions began. The competitions that were a part of this event are as follows:

1. Singing competition ( Age - Upto 1std )
2. Drawing competition ( Age - 2nd std to 4th std )
3. Flower arrangement ( Age - 5th std to 7th std )
4. Pick and speak ( Age - 8th std to 10th std )
5. Collage making competition ( Age - PUC )
6. Rosary making ( Age - Above 18 )
7. Family photo contest ( open to all )

The evaluation and judgement of competitions was done by Vivian Fernandes Madanthyar, Pradeep Kuppepadav and Minol Braggs Omzoor.

After the session Laveena Vinitha Almeda, Secretary of ICYM Fajir unit rendered a vote of thanks. The prizes were distributed to the winners. The programme concluded with ICYM theme song. Viyolla Lobo compered the program.

Refreshments were served to all kids who participated in this program. Around 80 participants participated in this competition enthusiastically.
