Sep 11, 2024 : The feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as the birthday of mother Mary, was celebrated with utmost enthusiasm by ICYM Permannur Unit. It was a joyous occasion for the youth to come together and honor the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In preparation to this youth of ICYM Permannur unit cleaned the church altar , fans, hymns displaying TV and lights and distributed sweets after all the novena masses in the morning and evening for 9 days.

The celebration began with a solemn Mass, followed by a vibrant procession and a special prayer service. The ICYM members actively participated in the liturgy, singing hymns and reciting prayers. After the Mass, the youth gathered to distribute Sugarcane to the church family and managed the crowd. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and camaraderie, reflecting the true spirit of the ICYM community.

After the celebration of the feast ICYM members cleared the church premises and later on ICYM group photo was taken. In the evening all the ICYM members gathered together for Nove Jevan where the youth as well as Animators enjoyed and participated actively in games. In all the preparation 45 youth were present.

The parish priest and Director Rev.Fr.Cyprian Pinto appreciated the hard work of youth and also thanked them for selfless service.
