Oct 11 : On 6th October 2024, the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Permannur Unit hosted its annual sports meet. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of around 35 members, all of whom contributed to the day's success. The sports meet was a fantastic opportunity for the youth to bond, engage in healthy competition, and promote a spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship.

The participants were divided into two teams: “Team Ugram” and “Team Red Warriors”. The event kicked off with a hearty breakfast, fueling everyone for the exciting day ahead.

A variety of sports were organized, including “throwball, volleyball, cricket, dodgeball, relay races, shot put”, and “discus throw”. Both teams showed great energy and competitiveness throughout the games. The lively atmosphere was filled with laughter, cheers, and mutual encouragement, making it an enjoyable day for all.

The event concluded with a communal lunch, where participants shared their experiences and celebrated the spirit of camaraderie that the day had fostered.

The annual sports meet was not just about competition, but also about building stronger relationships within the ICYM community. It was a day filled with fun, friendship, and teamwork, and it will be fondly remembered by all who attended.
