Nov 15 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Ranipura unit organised Baal Ranipura Photo contest, Baal Ranipura Baby Show, Baal Ranipura Kids Show and Mr and Mrs Ranipura on the occasion of parish day for the parishioners on 12 November 2023 at 4:30 pm at Ranipura school ground.

The dignitaries for the program were Fr. Rudolf Pinto Director of Ryshivana, Fr. Jayaprakash Dsouza parish priest and ICYM director, Fr. Stany Rodrigues resident priest of Ranipura church, brother Avith Pais, Sr Usha superior of Bethany convent, Arun Monteiro and Wilma Dsouza vice president and secretary of parish pastoral council, ICYM South Deanery president Jevita Ferrao, judges of the program Dr. Josmitha Dsilva and Rupal Dsouza, ICYM Ranipura president Liza Dsouza and secretary Jesmitha Dsouza were present.

The program began with a hymn led by the members of ICYM. Liza Dsouza welcomed the gathering. The dignitaries inaugurated the program by unveiling the trophies. Fr Rudolf Pinto addressed the gathering.

A felicitation ceremony was held for ICYM members who had achieved great success in 2023. Flarvisha participated in all India inter university athletics championship 2023 at Chennai. Royston and team participated in daijiworld trio singing stars and secured runners-up position.

Secretary Jesmitha Dsouza proposed vote of thanks.

After the formal program, the competition began. First Baal Ranipura baby show, followed by Baal Ranipura kids show and at last Mr and Mrs Ranipura. During the break time, ICYM members gave a dance performance to entertain the crowd.

Once the competition ended, a token of gratitude was handed over to the sponsors and participation certificates were given to all contestants. Then Fr Jayaprakash Dsouza shared a few words about the program.

The highly anticipated moment arrived and the winners were announced. The winners were adorned with sashes and crowns as a symbol of their achievement. Following that, both the judges shared a few words, and the director presented them with a token of gratitude.

It was a fun-filled evening, and everyone enjoyed the event.

MC Renita delivered a comprehensive vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the participants and contributors for making the event a success.
