Dec 16 : The ICYM Ranipura Unit organized a Carol Singing and Fancy Dress Competition on December 1, 2024, to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The event began at 4 PM with a prayer service conducted by the ICYM Unit members. The inauguration featured a lamp-lighting ceremony and the unveiling of trophies.
Ms. Velita Lobo and Mr. Elton Lobo served as judges for the competitions. Dignitaries in attendance included Rev. Fr. Jayaprakash Dsouza (ICYM Unit Director), Convent Superior Sr. Usha, Br. Avit Pais, Mr. Avit Lobo (Deanery Representative), Mr. Flinton Pranoy Cutinha (Deanery President), Ms. Melisha Dsouza (Deanery Secretary), Miss Wilma Dsouza (Parish Council Secretary), Nevil Dsouza (Avog Sanchalak President), and ICYM Animator Anisha Neeta Dsouza.

In the Fancy Dress Competition, Ethan secured first place and Marwin Dsouza secured second place who stood out with their performances. The singing competition was divided into two groups. In the 4th to 7th Std category, Lennon won first place, followed by Ashel Keziya in second. In the 8th to 10th Std group, Shon Dsouza secured first place, while Siona Lobo came in second.
For the group carol singing competition, four units participated, with Church Ward 1 emerging as the winners and St. Theresa Ward finishing as runners-up. The event concluded with the ICYM anthem.
