Indian Catholic youth movement, Bajpe unit, in collaboration with Sacred Heart of Jesus ward of St. Josephs church, Bajpe organised 'Gadyanth anyek dees', an inter-ward sports n games event in the the paddy field, which was held at crosspadav, permude.The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Leo Lobo, parish priest, St. Josephs church Bajpe. The dignitaries on the dias included Fr. Jeevan Sequeira, Asst. Parish Priest, St. Josephs church, Bajpe, Fr. Edwin Correa, Director, ICYM Pezar Deanery, Mrs. Rosy Mathais,Bajpe Panchayath president, Mrs. Saroja, Permude Panchayath president, Mr. Eugine D'souza, Vice president, Parish council, Mrs. Victoria D'Cunha, Secretary, parish council, Mr.Jockim D'Costa, animator, ICYM Bajpe unit.
The event was a huge success with people of all ages participating in different categories. 100m race, Reverse race, Tug of war, Breaking the pot, Treasure hunt, etc. where few of the many games that were included in the event.
