June 27 : ICYM Bajpe unit organized ‘Environment Protection Information Program’ on June 5th 2022 at Bajpe Town Panchayat. ICYM members cleaned the surroundings from Bajpe church to Bajpe panchayat.

The formal program began by invoking God’s blessings. ICYM Bajpe unit Asst. Director Rev.Fr. Ozmond Roshan D’souza, Bajpe town panchayat chief Mrs. Poornakala Y.K., Rotary Club Bajpe President Rotarian Mr. Arun Pinto, Mr. Santosh Dsouza Vice President Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs. Juliet Moras Secretary Parish Pastoral Council, ICYM unit President Sonali Noronha were present for the program.

Sonali Noronha welcomed the guests and the gathering. Bajpe town panchayat chief Mrs. Poornakala Y.K. addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of managing the wastes. She also briefed about the measures that are taken by the panchayat to segregate the waste. Rotary Club Bajpe President Rotarian Mr. Arun Pinto addressed the gathering and gave a brief about rain water harvesting. Rev.Fr. Ozmond Roshan D’souza addressed the gathering with his valuable words. Mr. Prasanna, the member of Bajpe Parish explained about kitchen waste segregation and also gave a demonstration of composting.

ICYM Bajpe unit, Rotary club , Bajpe town panchayat members and Bajpe parishioners actively participated in the program. Carol Lobo proposed vote of thanks. The program concluded with the National Anthem. The program was compered by Royson D’Cunha
