Sep 4 : The ICYM Bajpe Unit organized “Khela Dabazo – 2023” on Sunday, August 27th, at the Parochial Ground.

Present at the event were Parish Priest Rev. Dr. Ronald Cutinha, Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Dr. Ozmond Roshan D’souza, Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Mr. Stany D’souza, ICYM President Mr. Glevin D’souza, Secretary Ms. Melria Saldanha and Sports Secretary Mr. Briston Pinto, along with the parishioners.

The event commenced with a prayer ceremony led by ICYM members, followed by a warm welcome from Mr. Glevin D’Souza, the President of ICYM Bajpe. Parish Priest Rev. Dr. Ronald Cutinha delivered his message and inspired the participants. Ms. Melria Saldanha, the ICYM Secretary, proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Sweedal Lawrence compered the event.

ICYM members organized several games for parishioners in various categories, followed by a short prize distribution ceremony. The highlights of the event were Tug of War and Matka breaking competition. Four teams were formed separately for men and women in the Tug of War Competition. All the teams competed fiercely against one another. The crowd had a great time witnessing the Matka smashing event.

Mr. Briston Pinto, the Sports Secretary of ICYM Bajpe, concluded the event by thanking the gathering.
