Sep 6 : On the Occasion of 72nd Indian Independence Day ICYM Bajpe unit organised inter ward cooking without fire competition to the parishioners on 15 August 2018 in the church hall. Rev Fr Leo Lobo Parish Priest St Joseph Church Bajpe presided over the programme. Santosh Dsouza Vice President and Silvia Pasanna Secretary Parish Pastoral Council were the chief guests of the programme. 

The programme was inaugurated by lightning the lamp around the Indian map. Vinil Pinto Unit President welcomed the gathering. Parish Priest and the chief guests wished best wishes to all the teams and appreciated the youth. Asha Cutinho Unit Secretary proposed the vote of thanks and concluded the inaugural programme. 

Roshan Pereira explained the rules of the competition to the participants and gave a start to the competition. 14 teams participated in this event and the winners were as follows Holy Family Ward bagged 1st place, Velankanni Ward bagged 2nd place and Nithyadhar Ward bagged 3rd place.
