Sep 7 : ICYM Ferar unit organised Pavsa Khel for the parishioners Ferar church on 19th August 2018 at 10:15 am in Church School grounds. Rev Fr Antony Lewis was the chief guest for the programme. Raphael Dsouza Vice President and Alwin Saldhana Secretary Parish Pastoral Council, Sr Ida Head of the Shubhada Convent, Sr Juliana Head of the Nirmala Nikethana Convent, Precilla Sequeira Head mistress of Church school and Elton Jason Dsouza ICYM Unit President were the dignitaries of the programme.

Elton Dsouza ICYM Unit President welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Anthony Lewis inaugurated the programme and addressed the gathering. All the Donors were honoured for hosting the programme successful. Vijay Fernandes ICYM Unit Secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Jenitha Santhumayor compered the programme. Egg race, filling the water being blind folded and various other solo - games were conducted both with and without using water according to age groups. Lunch was arranged for the parishioners by ICYM team.

At the post lunch session, Ward games like forming a pyramid and breaking the pot, climbing the palm tree and breaking the pot, Pull the lorry for men and pull the Jeep for women, and also special relay were conducted. Nishith Lobo, Roshan Santhumayor and Elton Jason Dsouza conducted the games. Muchhur ward bagged 1st Place and Church ward bagged 2nd Place and other prizes were distributed to all the winners. Rev Fr Edwin Correa Director ICYM Pezar Deanery, Jason Pereira ICYM Diocesean President, ICYM Pezar Deanery President Ajith Pinto and Melroy Dsouza Secretary along with other ICYM members were present for the programme. It was a fun filled day and a day to remember.
