July 31 : As a tribute to all the elders of the church aged 70 and above, the Commission of Ecumenism organized Elders’ Day on Sunday, 21st July, at Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur - Kaikamba. The event began with a Eucharistic Holy Mass, followed by a celebration in the Centenary Hall.
All members of the Youth Commission actively participated in organizing the event. The youths led the prayer service with a heartfelt prayer song and performed a humorous skit. They energized the event with superb dance performances featuring songs from the golden era of Bollywood and lively Konkani dance numbers. They also engaged the elders by conducting various fun-filled games.

A member of the Youth Commission co-hosted the event, taking charge of stage decoration, sound, lighting, and capturing the memorable moments. The Secretary of the Youth Commission, Mr. Godwin Tauro, thanked everyone for their contributions to the event's success. The celebration was a memorable and joyous occasion for all involved.
