The Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as the birthday of Mother Mary, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the ICYM Shamboor Unit on 8 September 2024. The event was marked by various activities that engaged and united the parishioners in faith and joy.

Distribution of Blessed Vermicelli (Nove Jevan)
After the festive mass, ICYM members distributed blessed vermicelli (Nove Jevan) to all parishioners. This act symbolized unity and shared blessings within the community, adding a meaningful tradition to the celebrations.

Church Website Launch
In a moment of significance, the official church website, www.shamboorchurch.in, was launched during the event. This website serves as a digital platform for parish information, events, and announcements, fostering greater communication and connection among the parishioners.

Church Altar Decoration

Khela Saanz - Games for Children
In the afternoon, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, ICYM hosted Khela Saanz, a fun-filled game activity for children from LKG to 10th grade. The games encouraged participation, joy, and interaction among the younger members of the parish, making the Nativity Feast celebration special for the children as well.
