ICYM Mulki unit organized “Yuva - Ekthar 2.0” – an orientation cum training programme for the youths of Mulki parish on Sunday, 21st July 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church Hall, Mulki. The motto of the programme was “ Let the youths of Mulki unit grow and glow as one family ”.

The programme commenced with a prayer song led by Lavita Dsouza and Carol Saldanha. Sumith Crasta – President, ICYM Mulki unit welcomed the guests and the gathering. Rev. Fr Sylvester Dcosta - Parish Priest presided and inaugurated the programme along with Jean Moline Dsouza - Vice President, Prakash Monteiro – Secretary, Mulki Parish Pastoral Council, Sr Patricia , Pradeep Ferrao - President, James Pinto - Treasurer, ICYM Mother Teresa Deanery, Surathkal, Sumith Crasta – President, Movin Dsouza – Secretary, ICYM Mulki unit were the dignitaries of the programme .

Rev. Fr Sylvester Dcosta extended a warm welcome to the youths gathered and shared his views on “youth” and “How important they are to the society”. Movin Dsouza – Secretary, ICYM Mulki unit proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Sylvester Alwyn Dsouza, Agrar - Diocesan Youth President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese ( 2015 -16 ) was the resource person for the first session, in which he guided the youth on “Need of unity in youths and “How ICYM can help us to be a Christian Leaders”. Mrs. Irene Rebello was the resource person for the second session, in which she briefed on “ Youth Life - their difficulties and responsibilities”.

After the post lunch session, Group activities were conducted by Joy Dsilva - Joint Secretary, ICYM Mulki unit along with Pradeep Ferrao - President, ICYM Mother Teresa Deanery, Surathkal. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and feedback from the youths followed by baila dance. Sharon Dsouza compered the programme.
