On the occasion of 69th Independence day and the Assumption of blessed virgin Mary the ICYM of Mulki brought out the flag hosting programme at 9.15Am . At this auspicious moment Fr. Valerian Fernandes, the director of Divine Call Centre, Mulki was invited as the chief guest. The presence of the parish priest Fr. Francis Xavier Gomes, Fr. Hillary Santis and Vice-president of parish pastoral parishat Mr. Joel Dsouza added the beauty for the programme.
The president of ICYM Ms. Vinola Rebello welcomed gathering. Thereafter the Chief guest hoisted the flag and addressed the gathering. He gave the apt message saying how to be a good citizen for those who were present there. After this the chief guest Fr. Valerian gave away the prizes for all those of the parish students who scored distinction in the academic year 2014-15 and for the winner's of Gadyant ek Dees which held in Kirem. The lady vice-president Ms. Shalet Rebello gave the vote of thanks and Master of Ceremony was Mr. Pradeep Ferrao. Finally the happiness and joy was shared through the distribution of sweets.
