Sep 9 : In order to celebrate life, faith and community spirit, the ICYM (Indian Catholic Youth Movement) Surathkal unit recently organized a series of engaging competitions spanning nine days to honor the Nativity of Mother Mary. These events brought together parishioners in a joyous and creative commemoration of this sacred period.

From 30 August to 08 September , participants eagerly took part in a variety of activities, including: Fulanchi Daali Sazavni, Moriyaal Geet Spordo, Fula sangi kutmachi Selfie, Fulanchi Sazavni, Online Quiz on fula and randvai , Spot games like Lucky Child of Mary, Tiny Tod of Mary , Identifying the statues of Mary.

These events not only allowed parishioners to come together in celebration but also offered a platform for the expression of their unique talents and skills. The enthusiastic participation and the exceptional quality of entries showcased the deep connection that the community shares with their faith and Mother Mary.
The winners were honoured and awarded at the end of Festive Mass on 8 September 2023.
