ICYM Gantalkatte unit celebrated “ Laudato - Si Sunday” on Sunday, 7th July 2019 at the premises of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Gantalkatte.

Rev. Fr. Jesudas Dcosta – Parish priest, Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church, Gantalkatte, Mr. Alwyn Menezes – Secretary, Gantalkatte parish pastoral council, Aman Cutinha - President, Derrick Nazareth - Secretary, ICYM Gantalkatte unit were the dignitaries of the programme along with the parishioners.

Rev. Fr. Jesudas Dcosta addressed the gathering with few words of awareness and importance towards the environmental protection. The dignitaries inaugurated the programme by planting the saplings as a “Laudato –Si Campaign”. A total of 600 saplings were distributed to the parishioners as a mark to plant and nourish it regularly. The programme was organized under the guidance of Rev. Fr.Jesudas Dcosta and under the leadership of Aman Cutinha – President, Derrick Nazareth - Secretary, ICYM Gantalkatte unit.
