July 10 : ICYM Gantalkatte observed Laudato Si Sunday on 9th July taking inspiration from the Pope’s mission to address the issue of environmental degradation and calls for an urgent global response to protect the Earth and its ecosystems.
The event drew a crowd of attendees, including Rev.Fr Ronald Prakash Dsouza - Parish priest, Mr.Sunil Miranda - Vice president parish council , Mrs. Lydia Dsouza -Secretary Parish council , Mr Alwyn Menezes – pastoral commission head, Mr Edwin Pinto Pastoral Environment commission head, Mr Prithesh Dantis- ICYM President, Ms Arel Miranda -ICYM secretary.

Saplings were planted in and around the church premises and papaya seedlings also were distributed among the members of the church.
