Aug 24 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Hospet Unit and Catholic Sabha Hospet Unit in collaboration with Social Relations Commission Hospet, Social Development Commission Hospet and Indian Postal Department - Puttur Division, organized a “Aadhar Enrollment and Updation Camp” on Tuesday 22nd August, 2023 at Community Church Hall, Hosabettu to provide a convenient and accessible platform for individuals to enroll for Aadhar cards, as well as to facilitate necessary updates and corrections to existing Aadhar information.

Programme began with a prayer service led by ICYM and Catholic Sabha Members. Vikas Sequeira, President of Catholic Sabha Hospet Unit welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr. Gregory D’Souza - Parish Priest, Holy Cross Church Hospet presided over and inaugurated the programme along with Prahallad Nayak - Assistant Postal Superintendent of Bantwal Sub Division Jodumarga; Noothan Bangera - System Administrator; Francis Goveas - Retired Postal Supervisor; Manohar Cutinha - Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council Hospet; Laveena Pinto - 21 Commission Co-ordinator, Hospet; Prajwal Tellis - Convener of Social Relations Commission Hospet and Social Development Commission Hospet; Nikhil Jason Correa - President of ICYM Hospet Unit.

Prahallad Nayak, Noothan Bangera and Francis Goveas addressed the gathering and shared the importance of Aadhar enrollment, updation and various schemes and insurance policies that are available in the postal department. Rev. Fr. Greory D’souza congratulated all the organizers for arranging this programme.

Winston Joel Sequeira – Amcho Yuvak Representative of ICYM Hospet Unit and Joint Secretary of Catholic Sabha Hospet, compered the inaugural programme. Nikhil Jason Correa - President of ICYM Hospet Unit proposed vote of thanks. Around 100 individuals benefited from this camp.
