ICYM Bajjodi Unit organized one day training programme on “Youth Leadership, Skills and Team Building” on Sunday, 1st July 2018 at Infant Mary Church Hall, Bajjodi. All the youth, came together under one roof for this unique event.

The programme commenced with a prayer led by the youth. Mr. Joel Fernandes - President, ICYM Bajjodi Unit welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr. Deepak Thomas - National Youth Director, ICYM was the Chief Guest. The event was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Rev. Fr. Ivan Dsouza - Parish Priest presided over the function and in his address, he encouraged the Youth to exhibit their talents and make use of the opportunities given to them. Rev. Fr. Deepak Thomas in his message said that everyone is valuable to the family, church and the society”. Mr. Joseph Mascarenhas - Vice President and Mrs. Irene Pinto - Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council, Mr. Roshan Madtha - Resource Person and Mr. Michael Dsilva - YFC Coordinator were present on the dais.

Rev. Fr. Ivan Dsouza introduced Mr. Roshan Madtha to the gathering and he conducted ice breaker session to the youth. After the first session, YFC members gave a session on goal in life, Importance of ICYM. They also conducted games and group activities. The half day programme concluded with the Eucharist at 1pm. 100 Youth participated in this programme. Sumptuous meal was served to all. On the whole, YUVAANGAN was a combination of message, knowledge and activities. Ms. Raveena proposed the vote of thanks and Ms. Pranita compered the programme.
