Nov 12 : ICYM Derebail unit (Yuva Spandan Derebail YSD) organised "Retro Fire 2019" on Saturday 9th November, 2019 for all the youth of Mangalore Diocese at church mini hall. Around 75 youth including Core Committee of ICYM Mangalore Diocese participated in the event. The youth took part actively with a Retro Style Dress Code. ICYM central council Mangalore Diocese conducted Ice Breaker session , games and various entertaining activities.

Rev. Fr Austin Peter Peres - Director - YSD/ICYM Derebail Unit, Rev. Fr Gratian Alvares - Associate Director, Mr Mithun Rai - President - District Youth Congress, Mr Edward Coelho - Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs Lizzie Fernandes - Animator of YSD/ICYM, Leon Saldanha - President ICYM Mangalore Diocese and Ivy Melisha Dsouza - President of YSD/ICYM Derebail were the dignitaries of Retro Fire 2019.

The Programme began by invoking the blessings of the Almighty through a Prayer Song led by the youth. YSD members performed Line Dance and welcomed the gathering. Chief guest Mr. Mithun Rai addressed the gathering. Rev Fr Austin Peter Peres in his message congratulated Yuva Spandan Derebail for organising such a unique programme.

Soon after the stage programme, Fashion Show Competition was conducted in many rounds. Preston Russell Sequeira won the title Mr Retro 2019 and Nikitha Sequeira won the title Ms Retro 2019. The Guest of Retro Fire 2019 handed over the prizes to the winners.

Preemal Serrao delivered the vote of thanks. Mr Sheldon Crasta compered the programme. Retro Fire 2019 concluded with a delicious dinner, group picture and baila.
