Oct 5 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Mangalore Diocese for the Year of Youth organises "Youth Bible Convention" for the youths of Mangalore diocese from 4th October 2019 to 6th October 2019 at Divine Call Centre , Mulki.

Leon Saldanha, President ICYM Central Council, Mangalore diocese welcomed the guests and the gathering. The inauguration of this convention was done through Bible enthronement wherein the bible was brought in procession by ICYM President Leon Saldanha and handed over it to Fr. Cyprian Lewis, the director of DCC Mulki.

Thereafter Fr. Ronald Prakash D'souza led the prayer service accompanied by the DEXCO members. Fr. Ashwin Cardoza read the gospel. Director Fr. Cyprian Lewis welcomed all the youth to the retreat centre. Jaison Pereira , Immediate past president compered the inaugural program.

Fr Abraham DSouza gave the introduction and started with the first session of the retreat. Holy Eucharistic mass was celebrated by Fr. Clifford Fernandes. The preachers for the day were Sr. Shalet B.S. and Fr. Praveen Aranha SVD spoke about "Women in the Bible" and " Holy Bible is called to be a prophet".

Praise and worship was conducted by Br Rony and his team. Adoration was conducted by Fr. Evan Gomes SVD and Fr. Abraham D'souza conducted the Bible Quiz.
