Aug 18 : Vianney Day was celebrated at the Yuva Jyothi, Olivet House Jeppu on 6th August 2022. President Anil John Sequiera gave a brief introduction about the importance of Priest's day celebration and about St John Marie Vianney. Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza, Director ICYM Mangalore Diocese cut the cake and appreciated and thanked the team for this wonderful gesture.

Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza, Anil John Sequeira President, Nishal Preemal Dsouza - General Secretary and all the Diocesan executive committee members as well as the Central Council members were present for the celebration.

Vianney Sunday was celebrated by ICYM Bajjodi unit wherein the youth honoured the Priests of the parish and thanked them for their selfless service and wished them with a song.

ICYM Delanthabettu Unit celebrated Vianney Sunday on August 7th. After the Eucharistic celebration, Unit President Clavon D’Souza compered the small celebration felicitating priests, Fr. Sunil Praveen Pinto and Fr.Peter Serao. The youth and the parishioners gathered to pray for the priests. A memento was given as a token of love and appreciation. Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Maurice Paul D’Souza, Secretary Robert D’Souza , ICYM Animator Vinay D’Souza, President Clavon D’Souza and ICYM members and Parishioners were present for the celebration.

The Parish Priest expressed his gratitude towards parishioners for their love. Parishioners present wished the priests after the formal celebration.

Indian Youth Catholic Movement NIRKAN unit celebrated Vianney day on Saturday August 6th at the church presbytery.

On this occasion, ICYM president- Vinol Crasta, secretary Asha D’Souza and other members of ICYM Nirkan Unit and some children were present.

Vinol Crasta welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr. Leo Lobo was felicitated by offering a bouquet of flowers. Vice president Rolvish Fernandes expressed the heart of the youth through his words of gratitude. An inspiring message was given by Fr. Leo where he spoke about the duties of priests and power of youth in fulfilling the mission of God. Asha D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.

On account of the feast of St John Vianney, ICYM unit of St Joseph Church Borimar Soorikumer celebrated the feast with their parish priest Fr. Gregory Pereira.

The youth prayed the rosary and evening prayer along with the parish priest and prayed for his health and future endeavours. ICYM President Arvin Pinto welcomed the gathering. Anil Sequeira spoke about the life of St John Vianney.

The President along with all the members conveyed their wishes and also gave a present to the parish priest as a token of love. The parish priest spoke about the importance of priest day. Joint Secretary Lester D’Cunha thanked everyone.

Priests Day Celebration by Catholic Action League (ICYM) Bendur

On the occasion of the feast of St John Vianney, the patron saint of Priests, CAL along with YCS Bendur, celebrated priests day on August 7th 2022.

The members wished the priests by singing a wishing song and cutting a cake. All priests of the parish were presented with cards and a gift as a token of love.

ICYM Balkunje Unit celebrated Priest's day on 7th August 2022.

The ICYM members of Balkunje Unit visited the priest , wished him and spent quality time with the priest.

ICYM Pallotti Youth Farla celebrated Vianney Day at Our Lady of Vailankanni Church Farla in collaboration with the Commission for Vocation.

Soon after the mass on Sunday, August 7th, ICYM along with the commission for vocations felicitated the priests of the parish. All the priests were wished with a flower bouquet. A cake was cut as a symbol of sweetness and joy. The youth sang a wishing song composed by the members of ICYM. Mr. Jerome Lancy D’Souza the convener of commissions gave a brief speech on the sacrifices and dedications of priestly life and thanked all the priests for their selfless service and spiritual support.

At the end of the program, Rev. Fr. John Prakash Pereira the parish priest of Farla Church thanked all and gave a final blessing.

ICYM Miyapadavu celebrated Priest Day on Friday August 5th.

Parishioners of Miyapadavu church gathered together on Friday evening after mass to wish Fr Edwin Vincent Correa the parish priest, on the occasion of Priests day. Mr Pradeep D’Souza, Convenor of commissions addressed the gathering. The joy of the celebration was raised by cake cutting. ICYM members wished the parish priest a wishing song. Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Jochim Monteiro, Convenor of commissions Pradeep D’Souza, PPC members, ICYM Animator Sylvia Santhanez, ICYM President Jenisha D’Souza, ICYM members and Parishioners were present for the celebration. Fr Edwin expressed his gratitude towards parishioners. All the people gathered wished and felicitated the parish priest with flowers.

ICYM Mulki unit celebrated  PRIESTS' DAY on 4th August 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church Mulki. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Sylvester Dcosta offered a Holy Eucharistic Mass wherein parishioners and ICYM members took part.

Shareen Dsouza , ICYM Mulki Unit President along with ICYM members wished the Parish Priest with a bouquet of flowers.
