Red Drop Indian Catholic Youth Movement of the diocese of Mangalore signed a memorandum of understanding with St Aloysius College (Autonomous) on 30th September 2022. Red drop is a unique initiative of ICYM Mangalore diocese, through which many lives have been saved by donating blood during emergencies. St Aloysius College has been an active partner in the past year, more than 300 student donors donated blood through the Red drop initiative.
Rev Dr Praveen Martis SJ, Principal St Aloysius College appreciated and congratulated the youth for taking the initiative of Red Drop through which college could build a good network and bond with the diocesan youth organisation. Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza Director- ICYM Mangalore Diocese said that, we should not restrict ourselves only to share our blood, we must also share our thoughts, ideas and experiences for the better growth of society.
Vijoy Ashwin Cardoza – Former President of Students’ Council and present ICYM President of Moodbidri unit was honoured during the program for initiating the concept in St Aloysius College.
