Aug 6 : ICYM Bejai, in association with Commission for Youth, Bejai Church, organised Youth Pulse - Youth Convention 2024, on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Lourdes Central School Hall from 8:30 a.m.

The programme began with Holy Mass at 8:45 a.m., followed by registration and breakfast at 9:45 a.m.

Mr Richard Pinto, Mr Melwin Mascarenhas and Mrs Pamela Santos, all Ex-ICYM Presidents of Bejai were the chief guests and inaugurated the event. Rev. Dr J. B. Saldanha, Parish Priest and Director - ICYM, Rev. Fr Johnson Sequeira, Principal Lourdes Central School and Asst. Director - ICYM, Rev. Fr Norman Mathias - Asst. Parish Priest, Ms Sonali Rodrigues, President - ICYM, Mr Vion Lobo, Secretary - ICYM, Mr Ashok Pinto - Vice President PPP, Mrs Avitha Pinto - Secretary PPP, Mrs Preeti Gomes, Animator - ICYM, Mr Wilson Lobo, Animator - ICYM, Mrs Sylvia Lobo, Secretary - Commission for Youth and Mr Godwin Pinto, 21 Commissions Convenor were also present.

Ms Jenvisha D'Costa - ICYM Cultural and Liturgy Secretary compered the entire event. Mr Vion Lobo gave the vote of thanks.

This was followed by an ice breaking session and a few games organised by the ICYM members.

Rev Fr Richard D'Souza, Socius Surathkal Church, had an interactive session on the Dangers of Social Media and How to Stay Safe with the Youth, followed by a short ice breaking session by the ICYM Central Council and Episcopal City Deanery Executive members. Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha Deanery Director visited during the event.

The members of YCS performed a skit and dance, along with the ICYM members' dance. This was followed by a few more games and the prize distribution.

The event concluded with lunch, with grace prayed by Rev Fr Norman Mathias.
