ICYM Catholic Action League Bendur unit celebrated "Laudato Si" on Sunday, 14th July 2019 at Padua Grounds.

The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr Vincent Monterio - Parish Priest, St. Sebastian Church, Bendur along with Rev. Fr Rohan Dias - Assistant Director Bendur unit, Mr. Stephen Pinto - Vice president, Bendur Parish Council, Mr. Sujith James Noronha – Animator, C.A.L, Mr. Leon Loyd Saldanha – Diocesan Youth President, Ms. Veena Vas – Diocesan General Secretary, I.C.Y.M Mangalore Diocese, Ms. Delitia Asumptha Pereira – President, I.C.Y.M Episcopal City Deanery, Mr.Stephen Veigas – President, Catholic Action League and Mr. Vincent Goveas - Former Vice-President, Bendur Parish Pastoral Council were the dignitaries of the programme.

Ms. Steffy Veigas welcomed the guests and the gathering. Mr. Sujith Noronhna gave a message on the importance of planting saplings and protecting the nature. Rev. Fr. Vincent Monterio, inspired the youth to protect and care for the nature and to create awareness amongst others. At the end, all the dignitaries and the members of ICYM and YCS planted various types of saplings at padua grounds.
