ICYM Pallotti youth Farla unit celebrated “ Laudato – Si Sunday ” on Sunday, 30th June 2019 at Our Lady of Vailankanni church, Farla. ICYM youth members conducted liturgy and offered offertories. After the mass, Rev. Fr Claudy Vas - Parish Priest, Our Lady of Vailankanni church, Farla announced the names of newly elected council members of ICYM Farla unit for the year 2019-20.

The parishioners gathered at the church premises to celebrate “ Laudato – Si Sunday ” and to be a part of “ Laudato – Si campaign ”. As a guest of honour, Rev. Fr Claudy Vas – Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Stany Rodrigues - Guest Priest along with Vice president and Secretary, Farla parish pastoral council were present as the dignitaries for the programme. Saplings were planted at the premises of Vailankanni Church, Farla by Rev. Fr Claudy Vas followed by the other dignitaries.

Rev. Fr Claudy Vas addressed the gathering with a few words of awareness towards the environmental protection. On this occasion, Rev. Fr Stany Rodrigues distributed saplings to all ward gurkars as a mark to plant and nourish it regularly. The saplings were distributed to all the parishioners which were provided by Diocese of Mangalore under " Laudato – Si Campaign ".
