Sep 20 : ICYM Pallotti Youth Farla organised a Teachers’ Day celebration for all the teachers of the parish, including catechism teachers, on Sunday, September 18th, 2022. It commenced with Holy Hour and Holy Eucharistic celebration. Liturgical responsibility was taken by ICYM Pallotti Youth Farla. Soon after the Holy Eucharist celebration there was a short programme conducted by ICYM Pallotti Youth, Farla.

Rev. Fr. John Prakash Pereira - Director, and Rev. Fr. Sunil Miranda- Asst. Director of ICYM Farla, along with Parish Pastoral Council members Vice President Mr. Cyprian Rodrigues, Secretary Mr. Naveen Menezes, 21 commissions convener Mr. Jerome Lancy D’souza, ICYM Animator Steevan Robert Fernandes, and ICYM President Ms. Sonia Albuquere were present on the dais. All of the dignitaries, teachers, and attendees of the program were welcomed by Risha Moras. The MC of the programme was Joywin Bennis.

Fr. John the Parish Priest spoke about the importance of teachers and the sacrifices they make for the benefit of the children. Mrs. Irene Albuquere shared her experience of teaching with the gathering. A few games were conducted for the teachers by ICYM members. A dance performance was put forth. The prizes were distributed to the winners. The vote of thanks was given by Dinol Monteiro. About 60 teachers were felicitated for their valuable service.
