Feb 6, 2023 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Belthangady Deanery along with Venur unit organized a Youth Retreat for all the youths of Belthangady deanery. The Retreat started at 9:30am in the church with a short welcome by Deanery Director Fr. Praveen Dsouza to Fr.Stephen Lobo and Musician Br. Christopher.

The first session of the retreat in the morning started with Action songs, Spiritual teaching, Confession and Holy Eucharistic celebration.

After lunch, the afternoon session started with action songs and spiritual teaching . There was a small Adoration in the presence of Holy Sacrament. Later Amcho Yuvak Representative of Belthangady Deanery Jennifer Mascarenhas rendered vote of thanks. ICYM Mangalore Diocese Director Fr. Ashwin Cardoza and Secretary Nishal Dsouza were present.

After the program refreshments were arranged for all the youths. Altogether 150 youths were present for the retreat. Youth Retreat was a successful program with the support of ICYM Belthangady Deanery Director Fr. Praveen Dsouza, ICYM venur unit Director Fr. Peter Arahna, Animator Arun Dsouza, ICYM venur unit youths and Belthangady Deanery Executive committee.
