Jan 3 : On December 31, 2024, the ICYM and YCS units of St. Peter Claver Church, Arva, organized a vibrant New Year celebration. The event, held after the New Year Mass, brought together parishioners in a joyful and festive atmosphere.

The evening began with a captivating flash mob performed by the enthusiastic ICYM youth, setting a lively tone for the celebration. This was followed by engaging spot games, a lively housie game, and a kombo draw organized by the YCS. The winners of these activities were awarded prizes by Rev. Fr. Elias D'Souza, adding to the excitement of the evening.

Aronston D'Souza and Avinash Lobo skillfully compered the event, infusing it with energy and charm. The parishioners joined in the festivities, enjoying a spirited baila dance that brought everyone together in celebration. As midnight approached, the anticipation grew, and the gathering eagerly awaited the moment to exchange heartfelt New Year wishes.

The celebration reached its peak with the joyous sound of crackers lighting up the night, marking the arrival of a prosperous New Year. Loy, their own ICYM member, took charge of the DJ console, providing a lively musical backdrop that kept the energy high until the clock struck twelve.
