Mrs. Carmine Dsouza, the mother of an ICYM Arva Unit member, had been suffering from brain stroke for several days and was in need of urgent financial assistance for her medical treatment. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, ICYM Arva unit took the initiative in raising funds to support her.
On January 5, 2025, ICYM Arva Unit members, accompanied by Director Fr. Elias Dsouza and Holy Cross Ward Gurkar, Joy Mendonca, paid a visit to Mrs. Carmine Dsouza. During the visit, they handed over the total amount collected during the Christmas Carols organized in the Holy Cross Ward.
Additionally, a poster appealing for financial help was designed and circulated within the community, resulting in an outpouring of generous contributions. This act of kindness and solidarity highlighted the community's commitment in supporting one of their own in times of need.
