Jan 24 : Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar took initiative to build house for a poor family. This great project was initiated by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr Basil Vas with the help of many generous donors who contributed willingly to complete this project. St Agnes college Mangalore and Apostolic Carmelite sisters were also a part of this project. They too shared this project equally by funding it.

The inauguration and blessing was done by Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore at 3:00 PM on 4th December 2021.
