Sep 4 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Madanthyar unit on the occasion of Teachers' Day, organized "Guruvandana" program for all the teachers of Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar on Sunday 4th September 2022 at Sacred Heart Church Conference Hall. The program began at 9.30 am. The program started with the prayer song led by Josvita and the group.

Parish Priest and Director of ICYM Madanthyar Rev Fr Basil Vas followed by Assistant Parish Priest and Assistant Director of ICYM Madanthyar Rev Fr William Dsouza, Rev Fr Deepak D'sa - Sacred Heart English Medium Headmaster, Mr Leo Rodrigues - Parish Council Vice President, Mr Prakash Dsouza - President ICYM Belthangady Deanery, Mr William Sequeira - Animator ICYM Madanthyar, Mr Ajay Rodrigues - President ICYM Madanthyar and Mr Jeethan Carlo - Joint Secretary ICYM Madanthyar were also present for the program. 

Mr Ajay Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. Josvita and Alvina gave floral welcome to the guests. The youths sang a song for all the teachers.

Rev Fr William Dsouza in his speech highlighted the importance of teachers in our life. Rev Fr Deepak D'sa thanked the teachers for their selfless service. Mr Jeethan Carlo proposed the vote of thanks. Fr William Dsouza distributed the roses & token of love to all the teachers. Mr Ajay Rodrigues handed over the token of love and gratitude to all the guests present on the dais. Ms Titania Gonsalves compered the formal function.

Breakfast was served. About 25 teachers and 25 youths participated in this program.
