Sep 10 : ICYM Madanthyar unit conducted "Online Fancy Dress Photo Contest" and "Essay Competition" on the occasion of 75th Independence Day for all the Madanthyar Parishioners. 3rd September was the last date to submit the photos and essay.

The topic for the online fancy dress photo contest was "Independence Day" and the age limit was 3-12 years. Cliona Agaata Dsouza, Holy Rosary ward won the first place and Prishal Baretto, St Peter ward won the second place.

Topic for essay competition for the age group 13-17 years was "My favorite freedom fighter". Rishal Correa, Fathima ward won first place and Frankson Dsouza, Christ King ward won second place.

Topic for essay competition for the age group 18-28 years was " My Dream, New India". Roshal Cordeiro, Holy Cross ward won the first place and Ashwitha Moras, St Peter ward won the second place.

Judging was purely based on creativity and related to the topic given. The results were announced on 8th of September on the Feast of Nativity of Mother Mary. Fr Jerome Dsouza, Principal Sacred Heart P U college distributed the prizes to the winners.
