Oct 30 : ICYM Mangalore South Deanery organized  Khela Sangam for the ICYM youths of  Mangalore South Deanery on  16th  October 2022 at Paneer Church Grounds  from 9.00am onwards. The event Began  invoking God's blessings through a hymn which was sung by the members of ICYM Paneer unit. Rev Fr. Jayaprakash D souza – director ICYM Mangalore South Deanery , Mrs.Saritha D Souza Vice President Parish pastoral Council Paneer , Brother Loywin Rodrigues, ICYM Mangalore  South Deanery Secretary Ms.Achell D Souza,  Mr. Jaison D souza - ICYM Mangalore South Deanery Vice President , Mr. Flinton Cutinha - ICYM  Mangalore South Deanery Sports secretary , Ms Rushal - ICYM Paneer Unit joint Secretary were present on the dais. Mr.Siyak Praneeth Elston was the Referee for the sports event

Mr.Jaison D Souza Deanery vice President welcomed the gathering . Mrs. Saritha  D Souza  Vice president of parish pastoral council   inaugurated the throwball event and the cricket event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr.Jayaprakash  D souza and other dignitaries on the dais. Rev. Fr. Jayaprakash  D souza Spoke few words and cheered up the youths who were taking part in the Event .Vote of thanks was given by Ms.Achell D Souza ICYM Mangalore  South Deanery Secretary.

There were 2 sports events : cricket for boys and throwball for girls. 8 units for cricket and 7 units for throwball   from deanery took part in this sports event.

During the valedictory program , ICYM Central council president Mr. Anil John Sequeira , Ms. Nishal Preemal D Souza  , ICYM Central Council Secretary and ICYM Central Council Members were present . Brother Lanson Pinto was present during the sports event.

Inaugural program was compered by Ms. Venisha Cutinha, ICYM Mangalore South Deanery Lady vice President  and  valedictory program was compered by Ms.Jevita Freneta Ferrao joint secretary of ICYM Mangalore south deanery.

In Cricket , 1st Place was bagged by ICYM Mudipu and 2nd place was bagged by ICYM  Vijyadka. In the Throw Ball, 1st Place was bagged by ICYM Fajir and  2nd Place was bagged by ICYM Nithyadar.
