Dec 4, 2024 : The ICYM Panir unit successfully organized "Khel Pandyat 2024", an inter-ward sports competition for the Panir parishioners.
The event commenced with a brief formal program, graced by several dignitaries, including Fr. Victor Dmello (Parish Priest), Gretta Dcunha (Parish Council Secretary), Flora Castelino (ICYM Animator), Flinton Cutinha (ICYM South Deanery President), and Deepak Rodrigues (ICYM Panir President). The program was hosted by Olivia, with a warm welcome address delivered by the president.
Fr. Victor Dmello shared an inspiring message on the significance of sports in building community spirit. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Joel Dsouza, ICYM Secretary.
The sporting events featured were:
• Volleyball for men,
• Throwball for women,
• Mixed Cricket,
• Tug of War for both men and women,
• Shot Put for both men and women.
The event fostered teamwork and healthy competition among the participants.
