Sep 3 : ICYM Permannur unit celebrated Teachers’ Day on Sunday 1st September 2019 at St. Sebestian English medium school hall. Ms. Flavita and team invoked the blessings of God with a prayer song. Mr. Navaneeth, president ICYM Permannur welcomed the gathering.

Rev. FR. J. B. Saldanha, parish preist Permannur , Rev. Fr. Santhosh Dsouza assistant parish priest Permannur , Mr. Raymond Dsouza retired headmaster St.Sebestian high school Permannur, Mr.Melwin C Dsouza vice president Parish council, Sr. Sevrin Fernandes and Mr.Deril Dsouza Animator were the dignitaries present for the programme and also addressed the gathering.

ICYM Permannur carried out a program of congratulations to retired Teacher Mr. Joslin Dsouza as well as to Ms. Velita Dsouza, Secretary of ICYM Permannur, who donated blood and saved a little life. Mrs. Clara Veigas shared her experience as a teacher. ICYM Members performed a variety of cultural programs such as wishing songs, skits, dances. They also arranged games for teachers and honoured them with mementos.
