Oct 9 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Permannur unit organised blood donation camp on the occasion of its Golden jubilee in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Mangalore city, Sadbhavana Vedike Ullal, Indian Red Cross Society Mangalore on 6th October 2019 at Holy Angels School hall Permannur. 

Sushmitha and team invoked God’s blessings by a prayer song. Dailesh Dsouza, Vice President ICYM Permannur welcomed the gathering. The programme was inauguarated by lighting the lamp by Rev. Fr. Dr. J. B Saldanha , Parish Priest St.Sebestain church Permannur, along with Rev. Fr. Santhosh Dsouza Assistant Parish Priest St. Sebestian church Permannur, Rotaract Sheldon Crasta President Rotaract club of Mangalore, Mr. Sadanandha Bangera of Sadbhavana Vedhike Ullal, Mr. Melwin C Dsouza Vice President and Mr. Ronald Fernandes Secretary Parish pastoral council, Sr. Severine Fernandes Superior Bethel convent , Deril Dsouza Animator ICYM Permannur and Jovita Rosy Dsouza, Secretary ICYM Southern Deanery were the dignitaries present for the programme.

Praveen, District Coordinator , Indian Red Cross Society explained the importance of blood donation. Rotaract Sheldon Crasta conducted the felicitation programme to Mr.Vikram Cutinha who donated blood for the 100th time. Rev. Fr. Dr. J. B. Saldanha and Rotaract Sheldon Crasta addressed the gathering. All the dignitaries on the dais were presented with memento as a token of gratitude. 10 members of ICYM Permannur unit as well as more than 50 members donated the blood.
