Feb 6, 2025 : ICYM Bajpe Unit organized WISDOM-2025, an inter-ward quiz competition, on Sunday, January 26th, at St. Joseph's PU College auditorium at 3:00 PM. The parish priest, Rev. Dr. Ronald Cutinha; Rector of Kripa Sadan, Rev.Fr. Vincent DSouza; Chaplain of St. John Paul II Shrine, Bajpe, Rev.Fr. Anil Lobo; Parish Pastoral Council Vice-President, Mr. Stany D'Souza; Secretary, Mrs. Gracy Sequeira; Quiz Master, Mr. Robin Joseph Sera; ICYM President, Ms. Melria Saldanha; and Cultural Secretary, Ms. Melisha DSouza were present on the dais.

The inaugural ceremony commenced with a prayer song by ICYM members, to invoke God's blessings on the event. ICYM Bajpe Unit President, Ms. Melria Saldanha, welcomed the guests and the gathering.

The chief guest, Rev. Dr. Ronald Cutinha, addressed the audience and inaugurated the quiz by asking the participants a few questions about his connection with the quiz master. Ms. Melisha D'Souza delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Melria Saldanha introduced the quiz master and highlighted his achievements.

The valedictory ceremony took place in the evening from 6:15 PM onwards. St. Paul Ward secured first place, St. Theresa Ward bagged the second place, followed by St. Francis-I Ward in third. Lionel Sequeira emceed the valedictory ceremony.

The quiz consisted of 10 rounds, including an audio round, a rapid-fire round, a written round, and a bidding round at the end. Topics covered included the Bible, general knowledge, current affairs, science & technology, movies, songs, politics, and more. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from parishioners of all ages, from children to senior citizens.
