Sep 12, 2023 : Pompei Youngsters Club affiliated to ICYM Mangalore unit organized Independence Day Special Online Quiz Competition for Gurpur parishioners. It was conducted online through the Google form. Competition was started on 13th August at 10 AM onwards and ended on 15th August at 6 PM.There were 20 questions to answer regarding the history of Indian Independence. 216 parishioners participated in which 106 gave the right answers of 20/20.
Winners were decided by spinning the wheel. First Prize was bagged by Roopa Noronha from Kandar A ward and Second prize was bagged by Veronica Violet from Church ward. In charge of this competition was given to Reena Crasta, Preema Sequeria and Lester Menezes who have done a wonderful job.
