April 4 : ICYM Mother Teresa Deanery organized Athmik Spandhan – 2019, a prayer session for all the youths of Mother Teresa Deanery on 31st March 2019 at Immaculate Mary Church, Mulki . The prayer session was led by Rev. Fr Rahul Dexter Dsouza – Director, ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery and Assistant Parish Priest, St. Jude Shrine, Pakshikere.

Rev. Fr Sylvester DCosta – Director, ICYM Mother Teresa Deanery and Parish Priest, Immaculate Mary Church Mulki, Anil Prakash Katipalla, Cocess Fernandes Katipalla, Prakash Monteiro Mulki, Harry Surathkal - Members of Mother Teresa Deanery Parish Pastoral Council, Sheldon Alvares – ICYM Diocesan Youth Representative for ICYM Mother Teresa Deanery, Jaison Pereira Shirthady – Diocesan Youth President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese. Joel Concessao Milagres, Francin Mascarenhas Niddodi, Sandeep Dsouza Suratkal – President, ICYM Mother Teresa Deanery were present for the prayer session.

Rev. Fr Sylvester DCosta welcomed the gathering. The programme began with a prayer conducted by Rev. Fr Rahul Dexter Dsouza along with the preaching on Word of God and addressed about the youth life, youth responsibility in the family. Refreshments were arranged by the members of ICYM Mulki Unit. Joel Concessao with his team conducted Taize prayer session. Taize Prayer centred at the holy cross which involved recital of hymns, special prayers on individuals, groups and blessings on their intentions.

The members of ICYM Mulki Unit placed lighted lamps around the Holy Cross and decorated it beautifully. An hour with Jesus gave a wonderful and divine experience to all. A Total of 60 youths of the deanery participated in the prayer session and it was concluded by evoking the spiritual blessings by god.
