ICYM Mother Teresa Surathkal Deanery in collaboration with ICYM Mukka unit organized “Quiz 2K19” on Sunday, 28th July 2019 at Holy Spirit Church Hall, Mukka.

The programme commenced by invoking god’s blessings with a hymn followed by a wonderful display of exciting and thrilling quiz contest conducted by quiz master Vennisa Dsouza. The Quiz comprised of interesting as well informative rounds on Bible, Konkani culture, Sports, Science, Movies, History etc. Contestants from five parishes of Mother Teresa Surathkal Deanery ie, Mulki, Mukka, Surathkal, Thokur and Katipalla participated in the quiz contest.

The valedictory ceremony was presided by Rev. Fr Cyril Pinto - Parish Priest, Holy Spirit Church, Mukka and Rev. Fr Sylvester Dcosta, Director, ICYM Mother Teresa Surathkal Deanery, Quiz Master Vennisa Dsouza, Pradeep Ferrao – President, Anisha Fernandes, Secretary - ICYM Mother Teresa Surathkal Deanery were the dignitaries present on the dais.

Pradeep Ferrao - President, ICYM Mother Teresa Surathkal Deanery welcomed the gathering. Ancilla Dlima, Secretary, ICYM Mukka unit proposed the vote of thanks. Pearl Rodrigues, Lady Vice President - ICYM Mother Teresa Surathkal Deanery compered the programme.

The winners of the contest were as follows:
First place: Mulki Church ( Joseph Dsouza, Emilda Crasta, Ida Pinto )
Second place: Mukka Church ( Ashish Dsouza, Anitha Dsouza, Flavy Rodrigues ).
