Sep 6 : ICYM Mother Teresa Deanery organised “YOUTH CAFE " on sunday September 1st, 2019 in Surathkal Church hall . The motto of the program is “Start by doing what is necessary, then what is possible, and suddenly you'll be ready to face the impossible”.

Program started with prayer song led by ICYM Mukka unit. Pradeep Ferrao, President ICYM Mother Teresa Deanery welcomed the gathering. The inaugural function was presided by Rev Fr Sylvester D'Costa, Director ICYM Surathkal Deanery, who inaugurated the Youth Cafe program by revealing the youth cafe card and gave the meaningful message .

The chief guest of the day V. Rev Fr Paul Pinto Vicar Forane of Surathkal Denaery delivered an inspiring speech. Mr Bernard Dsouza Vice President Surathkal Parish Pastoral Parishad, Veena Vas- General Secretary ICYM Central Council, Arson Praveen President ICYM Surathkal Unit, Dilon Secretary ICYM Surathkal unit were the dignitaries on the dais.

The formal programme was followed by “Youth Cafe” conducted by Mr Jaison Pereira Shirthady, Immediate Past President Central Council Mangalore Diocese. Post lunch was conducted by ICYM Central Council members on socialisation session.

A total of 83 young people participated actively in this auspicious event. Anisha Fernandes , Secretary ICYM Mother Teresa Deanery proposed a vote of thanks. Preema Tellis compered the program.
