April 24, 2023 : ICYM Moodbidri Unit organised a career guidance programme for 9th grade to PU students on April 22nd and 23rd at Corpus Christi Church hall.
The Inaugural programme was presided over by V.Rev.Fr. Onil Dsouza - parish priest Corpus Christi Church, Mr. JJ Pinto - Resource person, Mr.Vincent Dsouza-Vice President Parish Pastoral council, Mrs. Celine Dsouza - coordinator of 21 commissions, ICYM animators Mr.Kevin Dsouza and Mr.Royston Pinto were the dignitaries on the dais.

The programme began with invoking God's blessings on all gathered there. Mr.Vijoy Dsouza - President, ICYM Moodbidri unit welcomed the gathering. Inauguration was done by lighting the lamp.
V.Rev.Fr.Onil Dsouza spoke about the future of parish children and congratulated all the achievers who performed well in their exams.
The first session was taken over by Mr. JJ Pinto, who educated and clarified about the career options for diploma, ITI, and engineering fields and explained their future scope.
The second session was carried by Mr. Rupert Dsouza, who explained about the courses in the pharmaceutical industry, along with Dr. Herald Roshan Dsouza, who educated the students about the career options in medical and paramedical fields.
Day 2 of the Career guidance program began with the 3rd session by Mr. Alwyn Dsouza, who educated and explained about the UPSC and KAS exams and how everyone has to prepare for them. He also explained about other government jobs.
The final session was taken over by Ms. Jenissa where she explained about the B.Voc. courses and educated students about food science, retail management, software development, animation, and renewable energy.
Mr. Vijoy Cardoza rendered a vote of thanks and Ms. Anisha Noronha compered the programme. Over 100 people were present, including students and parents.
